Assistant Junior Estimator-Designer
Overview
Alternative Landscaping Ltd. Is looking for a Civil Technician or Civil Technology co-op student to join our Estimate/Design Team as an Assistant for the 2021 summer construction season. This practicum participant will be working directly with the Estimating and Design teams, assisting them in field work (i.e., measurements, surveying) and related tasks as assigned. Qualifications
• Civil Technology or Civil Technician student/graduate.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
• Working survey, drafting and design knowledge.
• Strong report writing, math, and working with formulas skills.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills
• Basic construction and industry product knowledge preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
