Arts Day Camp Leader
Overview
Wasagaming Community Arts is seeking a fulltime Arts Day Camp Leader for the 2021 summer season. Work and live at Clear Lake in Riding Mountain National Park. We are looking for an energetic individual to organize and instruct day camp for children age 5 - 12 years of age. Activities to include arts, crafts, music, theatre, movement and just good fun in general. The successful candidate will work full time at the gallery along with a team who include our intern curator and administrative support.
Qualifications
Preference is given to:
*students or young adults with knowledge, education, skill and interest in Fine Arts, Education or a related field
*good oral and written communication skills
*experience in working at a children's camp or with children
*familiarity with word, social media, excel an asset
*experience in sales is an asset
All employees will be required to provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check. Accommodation is not provided and so the successful candidate will be required to make their own living and commuting arrangements.
