Sales Agronomist
Overview
Redfern Farm Services is a prominent agriculture supply and service company with 11 outlets throughout southwestern Manitoba. Redfern’s has a strong belief in the value of the total customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing crop and fertility planning. The individual would develop and maintain customer relations with growers by providing professional agronomic services. It would be expected that the selected candidate would remain educated and aware of new trends and technologies in the agriculture industry. As well, to develop opportunities to educate and assist growers on new products and services that will increase their farming efficiencies.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess an agronomic background. Post-secondary education in agriculture is preferred but extensive experience in the areas of agronomy and sales would be considered. Strong communication and time management skills are essential to the success of this position. The Certified Crop Advisor designation would be considered an asset. Anyone meeting those qualifications and has a passion for a career in the agriculture industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
