Independent Sales Representative / Dealer
Overview
Maizex Seeds, a fully Canadian farmer owned and operated company, is seeking Independent Sales Representatives throughout Ontario and Western Canada. Our Dealers range in background from full-time farmers to independent agricultural professionals, bringing their experience and local knowledge and expertise to their customers while they position, promote, sell, and distribute Maizex products. This is an exciting opportunity to add an income stream to your business while working with a leading Canadian seed company. We support our dealer network by investing in sales, product, and agronomy training and back our dealers with our dedicated support team, from agronomy and marketing to accounting and administrative professionals.
Responsibilities
• Develop a business plan for your area with Maizex team members
• Participate in Maizex product and agronomy training
• Develop an understanding of our product line that you can share with your customers
• Position, promote, and sell Maizex seed corn hybrids and Elite soybean varieties in your local market
• Provide excellent customer service in a timely manner
• Participate and learn through your own Maizex-sponsored product and agronomy trials
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Relevant agricultural experience, whether through on-farm experience, previous employment, or higher education
• Exceptionally strong relationship-building skills and a desire to provide excellent customer service
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to learn and grow a business
