Accountant

Heritage Lane Builders is a family-owned construction business located just outside of Niverville, MB. We place a high regard on relationships and integrity and if you believe in the same values, we would like to hear from you. Reporting to the President and Owners, you will be responsible for:
• Payroll
• Data entry such as accounts payables and receivables
• Reconciliations and interim financial statements preparation
• Record keeping for multiple companies
• Budget comparison and analysis
• Submit government remittances
• Cost accounting
The Requirements:
• Accounting designation or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
• Minimum 5 years practical full-cycle accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• High attention to detail
• Excellent time management
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task, take initiative and be self-motivated
• Construction knowledge is a definite asset
