Apprentice Electrician

Job Type: Full time – Permanent Full-time & Seasonal positions
Location: Carberry, Manitoba
Smart Electric is seeking to hire Entry Level Electricians & Labourers to join our team, applicants interested in the Entry Level Electrical position will be registered into the Electrical Apprenticeship Program through Apprenticeship Manitoba. The applicants are not required to have completed electrical levels to apply for the position but would be preferred.

Job Requirements:
 Mechanically inclined
 High School Diploma
 Ability to work under the supervision of Certified Electricians, as part of a team & independently in a busy work environment.
 Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
 Able to effectively communicate both verbally & in writing
 Strong organizational skills
 Keep detailed and accurate daily reports & documentation
Required license:
 Valid Class 5 driver’s license
 Class 3 drivers license (or willing to take training)

Work Conditions:
 Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
 Travel to off site location is required
 Safety equipment will be required
 Overtime as required
