IS Summer Student

To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for 4 Intelligence Solutions (IS) Summer Students to join our team. We intend to hire one student in each of the following regions: Region 1 (Swift Current, Kyle, Maple Creek, Shaunavon),Region 2 (Leader, Kindersley, Unity or North Battleford),Region 3 (Humboldt, Kelvington, Preeceville, Wynyard, Kamsack, Swan River) & Region 4 (Yorkton, Moosomin, Balcarres, SK & Russell, MB). The successful candidates may work from any of the locations within each Region.

We are looking for summer students on a temporary full-time basis, to assist with dealership IS (Precision Ag) services that help in the generation of sales and revenue. These positions will be a 3-month term starting May 31 to August 27, 2021 with the possibility of extension as well as this position may lead to future opportunities within the company.

As a IS Summer Student your primary focus will be working with John Deere Operations Center Management tasks such as: mapping engaged acres; engaging and signing up customers who do not have operations center in the assigned region. The role will however also work with and assist IS and alternate department staff in day to day operations to support precision farming products to producers in the assigned trade area as needed.

Critical capabilities for this position include a positive attitude, willingness to learn, ability to provide exceptional customer service and comfort working with ag and computer technologies. The successful candidate should be completed or registered in a post-secondary program, degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agri-business, Ag Mechanization, Marketing, Technology, Agronomy, Crop Science or related field, have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if necessary.
