Artisan Butcher/Chef

Harmonys Way Family Farm is a multi-generational farm located in the beautiful Peace Country of northern Alberta, Canada. We are passionate about raising the best all-natural grass-fed/grass-finished beef and lamb and pasture/forest raised pork. All our animals and partner farm animals are processed in our on-farm licensed meat processing facility then sold directly to our customers through farmers markets and online sales.

We are searching for a skilled and certified Artisan Butcher/Chef with an entrepreneurial spirit who loves the craft of all-things butchery to join our team.

If you are someone who…

 has a passion for nose-to-tail artisan/craft butchery.
 is averse to factory farming and mass produced food.
 values locally sourced, naturally raised meat.
 has a love for creating food that appeals to the senses and creates memorable experiences for the customer that are centered around farm raised food.
 enjoys the creativity of product development and presentation.
 is trained in value-added processing to produce fresh and smoked meats and sausages without fillers or preservatives as well as traditional and modern retail cuts.
 loves your craft and takes pride in your work.
 likes to give attention to detail.
 is comfortable and willing to work in a rural setting.
 is comfortable working with a team and/or alone.
 is able to engage with customers; helping them with product selection and suggesting ways they can cook their purchases successfully.
 enjoys a variety in the tasks of your job.
 understands the importance of cleanliness and can follow food safety regulations.
 can conduct yourself in a respectful manner and are self-motivated.
