Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Summer Student at our Richardson Kelburn Farm. Our Richardson Farm is a 700-acre Crop Development Center and demonstration farm that is dedicated to practical research and demonstration projects related to emerging agricultural technology with the areas of focus being agronomy, disease management, fertility, soil & water management, crop protection and seed varieties.

Responsibilities:

- Equipment operation (seeding, spraying, harvesting)
- Data collection and record keeping using current digital ag platforms
- Equipment maintenance
- Coordinating and conducting tours
- Public relations
- General farm duties

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Ambitious, organized and detail oriented
- Ability to operate field equipment is preferred
- Strong communication, interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Students or graduates of an Agriculture Degree or Diploma Program, or equivalent experience
- An agriculture background is preferred
