New Grad Agronomist
Overview
Jonair (1988) Ltd. is seeking a New Grad Agronomist for 2022.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Working with producers to identify their specific agronomy and crop production needs.
Provide sound agronomic advice and promotion of products and services.
Help coordinate custom application and delivery of products.
Identify specific grower needs and provide expert advice, products and services for new and existing customers.
Assist with management and delivery of prescribed products and solutions.
Qualifications
This position will appeal to people who are highly motivated, enjoy working independently as well as part of an energetic team.
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Agriculture or related discipline.
Agriculture, Agronomy, or Agribusiness background, interest, and aptitude.
Clear communication skills, ability to influence, sell and market services to customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to be flexible in work hours throughout the busy season (May-June).
Valid Class 5 drivers license with acceptable drivers abstract.
