Overview

The Commercial Manure Application program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to pass the licensing examinations required for Commercial Manure Applicator certification. This licensing process is administered by Manitoba Agriculture and Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks under the Manure Amendment to the Pesticides and Fertilizers Control Act.

In collaboration with Manitoba Agriculture, Manitoba Environment, Climate and Parks, Assiniboine Community College, and our industry partners, this program includes a training manual, a series of online video presentations, and is assessed with an open book exam. The online video presentations are pre-recorded, allowing students to access the content at their own pace. With no set class schedule, this program is entirely self-directed, providing flexibility to accommodate your learning style and schedule.

While there are no particular requirements to enrol for certification, you should keep in mind that courses are designed for people who have a Grade 12 literacy and numeracy level.
