Overview
Acres Industries Inc manufactures Emergency Vehicles out of Wawanesa MB, and currently has a full-time position available for an Electrical Engineer. Acres has been in business for over 22 years, and has developed a reputation for high-quality, reliable Emergency Vehicles. These attributes have forged a customer relationship that keeps customers coming back for additional Acres Products. Acres is looking for an individual with high moral values, patience, professionalism, and the passion to contribute towards the manufacturing of a better Acres product!
Responsibilities
• Design and model 12-volt power distribution wire harnesses for automotive application
• Design and model 12-volt power distribution panels
• Produce shop floor drawings of 12-volt power distribution wire harnesses for automotive application and 12-volt power distribution panels
• Produce bill of materials for 12-volt power distribution wire harnesses for automotive application and 12-volt power distribution panels
• Manage and maintain as-built data
• Travel as required
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of 12-volt power distribution
• Experience using Zuken electrical design software is an asset
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and learn new technology
• Ability to be analytical and solve complex and unusual problems
• Ability to take initiative with a high level of independent judgment.
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with co-workers, management, outside organizations and clients
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and Clear Driver’s Abstract
