Overview
Brandon Neighborhood Renewal Corporation (BNRC), is one of a few organizations in Manitoba approved by the Government of Canada to promote and deliver The Apprenticeship program.
The Apprenticeship Program is aimed at supporting and encouraging employers (small and medium sized enterprises SME’s with a maximum of 499 employees) to hire first year apprentices, which could also be from equity deserving groups, including women, indigenous people, newcomers, persons with disabilities, racialized communities including black Canadians and LGBTQ2+ in construction and manufacturing Red Seal trades across Manitoba. Part of the objective of this program is to help first year apprentice connect with employment opportunities, giving them opportunity to start a career in trade.
Qualifications
Interested applicants are required to fill out an apprentice application https://bnrc.ca/apprentice-incentive/ indicating their area of interest and we will try and connect these individuals to businesses who have signed into the BNRC Apprentice Incentive Program and are also looking to hire 1st year apprentice.
Start your career with little or no experience in any of the trades below. Please come with your passion only.
