We are currently recruiting self-motivated post-secondary students to join our Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centres across Western Canada. As an Agribusiness Summer Student you will be responsible for supporting the efficient and profitable operation of our Ag Business Centre. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure in Agronomy, Grain and Crop Inputs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Soil and tissue testing
• Assist with crop input retail activities
• Scout crops for weeds, disease and insects
• Assist with the purchase, storage and shipping of grain
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service to our farm customers

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong interest and knowledge of Agriculture
• Safety focused, organized and detail oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Pursuing a degree or diploma in an Agriculture-related field (Agronomy, Plant Science, Soil Science)
• An Agriculture background is considered an asset
