• Passion for cooking.
• Responsible for ensuring that the Residents have nutritional meals at lunch and dinner.
• Responsible for creating a meal plan that ensures the Residents nutritional requirements are met, offers a variety of meals and includes recipes.
• Recipes for creating and purchasing weekly grocery lists and maintaining pantry storage
• Work directly with the women to teach them how to cook, read and adjust recipes, do their own meal plan, budget planning based on their meal plan, kitchen basics, food safety.
• Responsible to inform the Shelter Manager or designate of client concerns, plans, behavior and concerns.
• To promote a positive image of the services of the YWCA Westman Women’s Shelter in the Westman region.
• Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by Shelter Manager or designate.
• Current First Aid and CPR and Food Safe.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
