Internships at Cargill:

Continuous Improvement Internship:
As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will gain exposure in the Operations Management field. You will learn and develop understanding of the workflow for plant and/or distribution operations. The functional business areas will include poultry processing. Interns will be given responsibility to monitor and track performance metrics for department(s) within the local site. Further responsibilities will include active participation on site projects that will deliver sustainable and tangible benefit for the company. This will provide an opportunity for you to leverage the skills gained in the classroom to a real life setting, and have the ability to take on additional projects which interest you.

Internship Programming:

Cargill offers relocation reimbursement to interns who qualify (based on mileage).

Internships are paid and are at least 16 weeks in duration.

Day–to-day transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the intern.

Interns who demonstrate exceptional performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered a full-time position for the following year!

Required Qualifications:

• Pursing an Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or business-related degree (including but not limited to Ag-Economics, Ag-Business, Operations Management, Ag-Systems Management, Ag-Engineering, Supply Chain) and graduating between December 2022 and May 2024.
• Willingness to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Able to complete a 4 month internship (May – August 2022)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Overall 3.0 GPA or higher
