Alternative Landscaping is seeking a Custodian. The successful candidate will know that as a cleaning professional, the smallest details matter. People rely on you to keep the businesses fresh, comfortable, and healthy, especially after the pandemic.
Customers trust you to take care of everything, from the most obvious germ collectors to the little places where grime builds up. If you miss a spot, they’ll wonder if you are doing a good job at all. Pride in your work and a positive attitude are crucial.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of different cleaning supplies and tools
• Awareness of safety procedures
• Multitasking and organizational skills to keep track of various responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to carry out tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
• Capable of being on your feet for extended periods on concrete floors
• Able to tolerate temperature and humidity extremes – both hot and humid, and cold and damp.
• During our peak season, we’re open 7 days a week; team members are required to be available to all shifts including, evenings, weekends and holidays
1 to 5 years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience is an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
