Qualifications
Are you the right fit?
• Able to manage multiple school age programs and their employees
• Experience recruiting, training and coaching supervisors and staff
• Experience developing and managing budgets
• Able to apply ELCC and the Y’s policies, procedures, regulations and standards
• Able to develop and maintain partnerships with school divisions and administration
• Proven ability to build rapport with children and their families
What else do you need?
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Manitoba Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3
• Knowledge of child care regulations, best practices and school age child development
• Understanding of emergent curriculum and staff leadership development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a variety of shifts and various locations
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification
• Fully immunized against COVID-19 or valid exemption
• Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check
