ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST
Overview
WEST-CAN HR IS CURRENTLY RECRUITING FOR A ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIST FOR AN EMPLOYER BASED OUT OF WAWANESA MANITOBA.
This position requires an individual with demonstrated team focus, high moral values, patience, professionalism, and the passion to contribute towards the manufacturing of a better product!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and model structural components of apparatus bodies and systems (like service boxes, pump houses, and mounting systems for equipment).
Maintain and manage 40+ individual designs and layouts.
Produce shop floor drawings of structural components.
Produce bill of materials and program manufacturing database.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering (CET) and 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of sheet metal design (steel, stainless, aluminum).
Experience using Solidworks or related 3D CAD design software.
