Events Team Representative, Westman Radio (Casual, Summer Term)
Overview
Q Country 91.5 & 94.7 Star FM are looking for professional, hardworking, energetic, reliable and outgoing individuals to join our Special Events Team! We’re searching for radio-loving team players who live and breathe pop culture and are great ambassadors inside and outside the radio stations. As a member of the team, you will represent the stations at various community events, concerts, festivals, and more. You’ll engage with people wherever you go and document all the fun on social media.
What you’ll do:
• Be a positive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic brand ambassador
• Animate crowds, attract attention, engage, and interact with listeners
• Create original, creative, and on-brand social media content
• Assist in equipment/signage setup and tear down ensuring visual standards are met
Qualifications
What you’ll bring to the team:
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Customer Service role is required
• Broadcast Communications, Marketing and Promotions experience is considered an asset
• A positive, energetic, and outgoing personality with a strong knowledge of social media
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; professionally interacts in a positive manner with all members of the public
• Desire to learn technical aspects of broadcast setups
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work most weekends
• Must be able to work within a variety of weather conditions
• Must maintain and hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel
