Farmer Support/Transportation Coordinator

Dairy Farmers of Manitoba (DFM) is looking for a Farmer Support/Transportation Coordinator to join its team. Under the direction of the Industry Services Director, the Farmer Support/Transportation Coordinator will provide daily technical support and direction to department staff, dairy farmers, and transporters. This person responds to inquiries on technical issues and policies from dairy farmers and industry stakeholders to strengthen industry-wide understanding of DFM policies and regulations.
As the Farmer Support/Transportation Coordinator you will:
Provide technical support regarding DFM’s custom software.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for processes and policies.
Provide support to dairy farmers.
Support a cost effective and efficient transportation network.
You and Your Experience:
You have post-secondary education in a related field (e.g.: agriculture, commerce).
You have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
You have excellent people skills.
You have excellent organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, and prioritize and meet deadlines.
You have the demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team
You show attention to detail and accuracy in work.
You have strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with numerical data, statistics, and financials.
