Valleyview Co-op is hiring a full-time HARDWARE MANAGER at our FARM & RANCH CENTRE in VIRDEN, MB.
Qualifications
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Farm & Ranch Manager, the Hardware Manager is responsible for merchandising and displays, ordering, receiving, margin control, and overall management of the Hardware department at the Virden Farm & Ranch. The Hardware Manager effectively and efficiently guides the direction of the Hardware department to drive the growth of revenue and productivity, along with promoting high customer satisfaction. The Hardware Manager ensures the integration of retail goals as they pertain to the department and manages required administrative needs.

Who you are:
We are looking for applicants who have:
• 3 – 6 years in a retail environment with 2-3 years of Supervisory or Lead experience
• Post secondary education preferred
• Experienced in developing relationships with external and internal customers and stakeholders
• Experience with coaching and providing feedback to team members
• Ability to control operational costs, maximize operational efficiency, and improve sales and growth margin.
