Working in our shop the Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician will contribute to one of Canada's best-managed companies. Compensation:

Competitive base wage depending on experience and certifications i.e. Red Seal and CVI Ticket

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of hydraulic truck-mounted equipment
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of equipment ranging from cranes, bucket trucks, and hi-rail.
Report to Foreman and Service management to assist with customer communication and satisfaction
Ability to type out detailed stories of repairs to be carried forward or completed
Ability to keep a clean and safe workspace

Skill Set:

Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
Customer service focused with strong communication skills
Must be a motivated able to work in a fast paced, detailed, and processed driven environment
Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift
Use of computerized scanning equipment, able to use digital technology/mechanical software

Qualifications

Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Certificate (Apprentice level 4 technician will be considered)
BC Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 with air brakes or Class 1 an asset)
