Heavy Equipment Operator

Industrial Metals is in need of a permanent full-time Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a scrap metal yard in a safe and appropriate manner (i.e., material handling machines, excavators with shears, loaders, and skid steers). Primary task includes inspecting, sorting, grading and processing, loading, and unloading trucks.

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in operating heavy equipment of at least 5000 hrs or more and extensive knowledge of their trade. The Heavy Equipment Operator must have strong time management and organizational skills, be both a team player and work well on their own with minimal or no supervision.
