Heavy Equipment Operator

Fluker Construction Ltd has been serving the Boissevain community and surrounding area for decades. They are a family-owned business who is expanding and need to add to their solid team of construction specialists. Reporting to the owner and foreman, the Heavy Equipment operator is responsible for operating excavators, bulldozers, scrapers, and graders

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company’s operating standards
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
• Ensure company equipment is maintained and report any repairs that maybe required
• Loading and offloading any rocks, debris, or material from equipment
• Providing any labour needed on the worksite including shovelling and lifting.
• Working with team members to ensure that the site is maintained and organized
• Assisting in the workshop with any necessary maintenance, projects or clean up
• Other duties as assigned.

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU NEED:
• 2-3 years experience operating a variety of heavy equipment
• Valid Class 1 – would be considered an asset
• Must provide a drivers abstract
• Mechanically inclined
• Proficiency in the safe operation of equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
