Riverdale Inc has been rapidly growing and is looking for an Environmental Customer service Representative to help us continue this growth and take our company to the next level. Our company has been in business since 2008 and its focus is environmental water remediation and landscape sales.

We currently have 3 sales streams – retail, commercial, and landscapers. We are actively looking to substantially increase the environmental retail business and expand into new geographical areas. The focus of our retail sales focus is water remediation using environmentally friendly technology and bacteria treatments creating healthier water bodies with biodiverse habitats. This includes water analysis, design, and recommendations to improve ponds, dugouts, and lakes.

Job Description
The position of Environmental Inside Sales and Marketing Intern is critically important to the health of our company as the successful candidate will take a lead role in building our sales program, improving our customer retention, increasing our water remediation sales growth in Canada, and expanding into the international market. Develop marketing program – social media posts, blogs, website development, client care, CRM hygiene. The incumbent must be 100% dedicated to providing the very best in customer care, extremely organized, and attentive to detail. Candidates must be willing to learn about water quality, water assessment and offer the best proactive and reactive solutions to correct the problems using environmentally friendly and effective products and equipment that protect our environment.

Job Specifications- Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities (TDR’s)
• Improve a customer retention program
• Improve new client onboarding program
• Learn about water remediation science – assessment, recommendations, design so you can provide recommendations to new and existing clients
• Improve & create marketing programs online, emails, websites, blogs
• Create blogs, social media post
• Increase retail sales across Canada using marketing programs
• Expand retail sales internationally using marketing programs
• Comply with all safety regulations and report any hazards to the proper authority. We are a Safe Work certified company. Participation in weekly safety meetings.
• Respond to customer inquires via email, websites, and social media

Responsibilities
40% - Inbound Sales- Taking phone calls, responding to emails, providing recommendations & proposals for clients, responding to the website and social media inquires, entering invoices, creating environmentally-friendly recommendations.
20% - Working with the marketing team to create collateral and promotions beneficial in expanding the company’s growth curve
20% - CRM Hygiene – building and maintaining pipelines, entering valuable CRM data
10%- Outbound Sales- Finding creative ways to bring Riverdale and our product line to new markets using digital marketing
10%- Admin – Invoicing, Day-to-Day Follow-up, Travel, Internal Tasks

You will report to the President. You will work as a team and work independently at times. And you will, for sure, be expected to bring new ideas to the table.

• Naturally friendly communicator with the ability to speak with stakeholders
• Along with a strong working knowledge of customer care, you must have a personal desire to set and achieve personal and team goals.
• Manage and grow key accounts
• Punctual and reliable
• Enthusiasm and the ability to dedicate a high level of energy to job-related duties are required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in written/oral communication (writing, editing, formatting) in the English language
• Must have a high degree of computer literacy in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, Adobe Suite, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Must be alert and resourceful and be able to interact with a cross-section of individuals
• Must be able to demonstrate patience and perseverance and embrace change when it occurs

Credentials and Experience
• Business Degree or other required
• First aid/CPR training an asset
• Interest in science, water remediation, and the environment a must
