Reporting to the Business Solutions Manager, the IT Development Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, and integration of all business solutions that support the strategic direction of the Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation. Your experience with modern development practices will be leveraged to ensure continual improvement in the value, velocity, and quality of solutions delivered by your team. MASC’s solutions are primarily delivered on the Microsoft stack (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Dynamics 365, Business Central and Power Platform).

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and several years’ experience in application development or equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.
· Experience developing custom web applications (C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML/CSS/JS).
· Experience querying and developing against a relational database.
· Experience with automated testing.
· Experience with staff supervision.
· Experience leading development initiatives for IT projects.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience developing or supporting MS Dynamics 365, Business Central, or MS Power Platform applications.
· Experience in Agile, Project Management, or DevOps.
· Experience with development tools for task tracking, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
· Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
· Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
· Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba as required
