IT Development (student)

Overview

The Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation (MASC) provides diverse products and services that support the growth of agriculture in Manitoba. “Lending and Insurance – building a strong rural Manitoba.”

Are you a post-secondary Computer Science student that wants to gain real-world development experience delivering solutions on industry leading technologies? Under the direction of our Lead Developer, you will directly enhance and support our cloud-based web applications through feature implementation, bug resolution, documentation, and testing. The successful applicant must be available to work for the duration of the term. Preference will be given to students furthering their education in the fall.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Enrolled in a post-secondary Computer Science program.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C#.
• Experience with web development technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, JS.
• Experience with relational databases.

DESIRED
• Experience with software testing such as unit testing, browser automation, usability testing and performance testing.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must possess a valid driver’s licence and have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
