Want to help provide a high quality camp experience for every child? Excited about spending your Summer on an island in beautiful Lake of the Woods? Camp Stephens provides a unique opportunity for everyone. As a Junior Staff, you will work in a variety of positions throughout camp including counsellor, kitchen, program/depot and operations. The junior staff will support the camp team and be a positive role model for participants to ensure they have a safe, fun, and engaging experience.

Qualifications
Are you the right fit?
• Demonstrate appropriate use of natural resources
• Assist to ensure all camping industry and Y safety standards and policies are implemented and practiced
• Supports and supervises campers
• Assist in planning and delivery of age and ability appropriate camp programs
• Assist in kitchen food prep, cooking, delivery and cleaning
• Ensure facilities and equipment are safe, clean and in good working order
What else do you need?
• Must be at least 17 years of age or completed Grade 11
• Standard First Aid & CPR C
• Bronze Cross
• Globally Harmonized System (will train)
Assets:
• National Lifeguard (NL)
• Advanced Wilderness First Aid
• Other outdoor activity certifications
• Completion of Leadership Development Program or 6 week canoe trip
