Overview
Extendicare is a leading provider of care and services for seniors throughout Canada. Applicants are invited to apply for the following positions available at our Personal Care Home serving 213 residents in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Positions available: (Shifts are 8 hours)
1.0 Days- term
0.6 Days
0.4 Days
0.7 Evenings
0.7 Nights
Ensures resident care is provided within established nursing standards and principles, physicians’ orders and administrative policies.
Uses the Nursing Process to assess residents and develop, implement, review and evaluate individualized resident care plans including the provision of care to residents.
Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates the work of Health Care Aide staff
Organize, deliver and direct functions and activities related to provision of care to residents including restorative care, quality of life activities and palliative care as required.
Qualifications
Licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Strong organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management and multi-tasking skills.
Current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check & Adult Abuse
