Bayshore is seeking passionate Licensed practical nurses to join our team.
The Work You Will Do:
· Provide nursing care to a diverse group of clients within their home/community
· Perform routine and specialized nursing care based on an established care plan or medical directives
· Work one-on-one with each client with more time to focus on their physical, emotional, and safety needs
· Opportunity to provide direction, and support, to paraprofessional employees, (HCAs, HSWs, etc.)
· Identify and document changes to client's care plans according to Bayshore's standard of care and provincial legislation.
· Maintain privacy and confidentiality of client and corporate information.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Registered Nurse who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
· Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
· Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations using excellent decision-making skills and prioritize tasks.
· Able to organize workload and respond effectively and efficiently to unexpected workload situations.
· A reliable mode of transportation OR a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for commuting
· A clear Police Criminal Record and ability to get adult and child Vulnerable Sector Screenings
· Clear Tuberculosis screening
· Must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada*
