Lifeguard and Swim Instructor – Part Time

Are you passionate about water safety? Do you think learning to swim is a critical life skill? As part of the Y team you will play an important role ensuring the safety of our pool patrons and/or teaching kids to swim!

Qualifications
Are you the right fit?
• Enjoy working with kids
• Able to build positive relationships with members, staff and volunteers
What else do you need?
• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification or Aquatic Emergency Care
• Ability to obtain YMCA Swim Instructor certification
Lifeguard
• NL certification
• Asset: LSI (Lifesaving Instructor)
Swim Instructor
• Bronze Cross or Higher
• Asset: YMCA Swim (YSI) or Water Safety (WSI) Instructor
