Line Cook/Chef

The Whitehouse Bakery & Restaurant in Clear Lake is looking for a Line Cook/Chef.

We have an opening immediately for a full-time position. This position can be short term through the summer, to complete the season through this September, or it can be a season over season career. Pay is starting at $17 an hour, plus tip-out, however for the appropriate candidate wage and benefits are negotiable.

Located in beautiful Riding Mountain National Park, the Whitehouse is an iconic restaurant in the townsite of Wasagaming, and we are rated #1 on both Google Reviews and Trip Advisor in the townsite. It is a fast paced and busy restaurant serving a wide variety of popular breakfast and lunch items. We are famous for our Cinnamon buns, as well as our fast and delicious breakfast options. If you are looking to expand your culinary skills and meet people visiting from across Canada, this is the place for you. If you are pursuing hours towards a Red Seal certification, we can explore having you complete your apprenticeship with us. Our hours are 8-4 daily, leaving you to enjoy the beauty of Clear Lake during your evenings.

Ideally we are looking for a long term candidate. This would be someone who enjoys working hard for six months in the summer, while earning the majority of their living and leaving your winter to be enjoyed.
