Marketing Assistant

Overview

The Marketing Assistant will work closely with all team members to help assist with the portfolio of clients coordinating their marketing activities and initiatives. You will help our team thrive by executing tasks and administration related to marketing campaigns, strategies, and tactics.

About YOU |
You are a skilful communicator both written and verbally who excels at time management and organization skills. You have a background in administration and/or marketing paired with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You exhibit the confidence to problem solve and are a critical thinker who can easily adapt to the ever-changing marketing world.

What You’ll Do |
• Be resourceful to senior marketing team needing help with completing large projects
• Help in the development of ways to improve marketing campaigns and monitoring active marketing programs
• Assisting with the creation and maintenance of database systems, blog platforms, social media accounts and websites
• Helping in the development of ways to improve marketing campaigns and monitoring active marketing programs
• Support branded advertising campaigns, and support the organization by coordinating, collating and scheduling content
• Generate regular client reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other organic search initiatives as discussed in initial objectives
• Translate large amount of data into client-friendly bite-size insights
• Keep pace with current digital and traditional marketing industry trends and developments
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You Bring |
• Soft Skills: You can easily talk to new people, strike up a conversation and create relationships.
• Education or experience in Marketing & Communications or Administration
• Digital Skills: Able to quickly learn new software programs, apps, etc.
• Knowledge of Social Media & Social Media Scheduling platforms, Time-Tracking and Webinar Software
• Detailed Organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated analytical and systems thinking mindset
• BONUS if you have an interest in or experience with:
o Copy Writing
o Copy Editing
o Photography (shooting & editing)
