Westoba Credit Union is looking for a Marketing & Community Relations Coordinator just like you!
Job Description: Your main responsibilities will be:
• Implement social media plans, including monitoring activity and engagement on various digital platforms
• Coordinate content updates to the Westoba Credit Union, Westoba Inspire and MAXA Financial websites while ensuring that marketing and communication efforts are accurate and timely
• Support community investment efforts through the implementation of the Community Investment Strategy including content capture and coordination
• Increase Westoba’s brand reach through participation and promotions of special events and campaigns, including being on location representative and coordinating content production
• Ensure strong internal communications by contributing to staff intranet content and branch representative initiatives
Qualifications
• Formal post-secondary education specializing in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications
• Minimum one year experience in a Marketing role is ideal for team success
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Shows deftness and interest in writing and creating for digital platforms
• Strong organizational and time management skills, spreadsheets are your friend!
• A forward-thinker with a can-do attitude who likes variety and thrives in fast-moving environment
• Event coordination skills are considered an asset
• Photography experience is considered an asset
• A valid driver’s license and consistent access to a vehicle
