Mobile Equipment Installer

We are looking for a Mobile Equipment Installer to join our team at Jannatec Technologies to deliver the desired customer service experience. This individual will be based out of Thompson, MB and work on-site at Vale T1/T3 mine sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be required to program, install, test, troubleshoot and repair our mobile proximity detection system on mining equipment. Other job duties are as follows:

• Interpreting customer requirements to understand and anticipate their needs.
• Provide customer support for fault diagnosis and technical guidance.
• Completing service reports and other paperwork associated with day-to-day operations.
• Various tasks assigned by management.

The individual filling this role must be comfortable working independently.

Job details
• Position will be based in Thompson, MB
• Willing and able to travel (training will be completed at our head office in Sudbury, ON)
• Compensation: $20.00 – $29.00 hourly
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime and on call may be required

• 1 full-time contract position available

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Previous experience with wiring/installation in any field would be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills required to meet tight deadlines.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail and quality.
• Valid driver license (with a clean driver’s abstract).
• Own transportation is required
• Must be willing and able to work underground in mining environments.
• Good PC skills with working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
