Overview
Alternative Garden Centre is looking for positive, hardworking, energetic, and reliable people who are passionate about plant care to sell, grow, and maintain top-quality trees, shrubs, and perennials in our retail nursery.
Qualifications
• Responsible with excellent communication skills
• Able to work in a team and independently
• Quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow direction
• Organized and detail oriented
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Education and/or experience in horticulture or a related field is an asset
• Work in all weather conditions, hot sun, rain, and cold fall weather
• Fitness: A variety of tasks require workers to stay in one position over long periods of time: standing, kneeling, sitting and able to safely lift 40lbs on occasion and participate in construction projects.
