Office Clerk

Overview

We're seeking a competent office clerk to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. Responsible for scheduling meetings, helping to manage the business calendar, confirming appointments, and placing and returning phone calls. The office clerk reads email, writes correspondence, creates meeting agendas, performs clerical and administrative work. Hours are 10-15Hrs Weekly. The Salary is $20.30 per hour.

Skills:
Must have time-management skills apart from strong communication — both oral and written skills. Need to be a people-oriented individual and have analytical skills along with the ability to make decisions.

Responsibilities
• Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
• Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
• Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
• Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
• Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
• Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
• Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
• Perform receptionist duties when needed
• Invoice customers

Requirements
• Proven experience as an assistant and office manager
• Working knowledge of computers and printers
• Thorough understanding of office management procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, must be able to multitask
• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
