Zeghers Canada is currently recruiting for a Summer term opportunity of Pedigreed Seed Sales Associate to join our team located in Holland, Manitoba. Holland is located on Highway #2 and is a scenic 90 minute drive from Winnipeg, or just over one hour from Brandon. Working under the direction of the Sales and Purchasing Manager, the Pedigreed Seed Sales Associate is responsible to: • Provide support to the sales team in meeting established sales, targets, and quotas for our pedigreed seed, cover crop seed and forage seed. • Support and enhance relationships with producers on servicing seed sales. • Collaborate with the operations manager to fulfill seed orders.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities: • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Plant Science, Soils Science, Ag Business or Agronomy or related discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills. • Good oral communication skills with the ability to relay/articulate information clearly and concisely. • Preference for an agriculture, manufacturing or production environment experience is an asset. • Daytime working hours Monday through Friday, with the ability to work on Saturdays occasionally, and overtime during peak times. • Experience working with agricultural equipment is an asset.
