Overview

West-Can HR Solutions is recruiting for a Print & Digital Media Sales Consultant position with a well-established company in Brandon, MB.

Job Summary:

The Print & Digital Media Sales Consultant is responsible for the development and prospecting of new business and sales opportunities. They are expected to develop relationships with clients by selling creative and innovative print and digital marketing solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Proactive Sales and Service (50% of time spent)
Responsive Sales and Service (35% of time spent)
Planning (10% of time spent)
Administration (5% of the time)
Knowledge/Skill Requirements

An understanding of marketing strategies and a drive to learn all products and services offered
Solution selling and service skills.
Well-developed negotiation skills.
Relationship management skills with business acumen: Must be able to ?talk shop? with small and medium sized businesspeople.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with good presentation skills.
Intermediate math skills (multiplication, division and percentages).
Adept at sourcing relevant data
Recommended Qualifications

University/College degree or equivalents are desirable.
Multi-years experience selling to small and medium sized business customers with prior experience in a sales/account management or customer facing role.
Concrete experience in our local market; understanding of pricing strategies, competition, and key suppliers.
Additional Information

This is a mobile sales position that includes calling and client meeting activities.
Laptop and mobile (phone, email and text) access to all assigned clients.
Travel to customer or training site locations.
