Recruitment Assistant, Summer Student

Overview

The Human Resources summer student provides support to the Supervisor Recruitment through completion of various projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with Supervisor Recruitment and other Human Resources staff to complete projects as assigned
- Research and develop strategies related to student and new graduate recruitment
- Research advertising methods and avenues
- Completes data input and validation within the HSPnet (student placement) database.
- Keeps supervisor informed regarding project progress and requests assistance or direction as required
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

* Full-time post-secondary student, legally entitled to work in Canada and intending to return to their studies in the fall.
* Knowledge and/or experience as well as an interest in communications, marketing, and/or recruitment related to health care
* Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers License, or equivalent from province of residence, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health
* Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information
* Demonstrated ability in maintaining effective interpersonal working relationships required.
* Demonstrated strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
* Maintain a professional manner at all times.
* Ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
* Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
* Ability to respect and promote confidentiality.
* Ability to perform the duties of the position on a regular basis.
