Sales Assistant - Summer

Zeghers Canada is currently recruiting for a Summer term opportunity of Summer Sales Assistant to join our team located in Holland, Manitoba. Holland is located on Highway #2 and is a scenic 90 minute drive from Winnipeg, or just over one hour from Brandon.
Working under the direction of the Sales and Purchasing Manager, the Summer Sales Assistant responsible to:
• Provide support to the sales, logistics and admin team in for the sales of pedigreed seed, cover crop seed, forage seed, human edible, and pet food grains.
• Support and enhance relationships with customers
• Collaborate with the operations to support sales during peak times

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:
• Currently pursuing education in Agriculture, Plant Science, Soils Science, Ag Business or Agronomy or related discipline. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in using Microsoft programs: Teams, Excel, Outlook and Word
• Good oral communication skills with the ability to relay/articulate information clearly and concisely.
• Daytime working hours Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30
