Sales Summer Intern:
Cargill Global Edible Oils Solutions – Specialties (GEOS-S) is a producer of canola seed and is a manufacturer of high oleic canola oils and sunflower oil serving the grower/farmer, food ingredient, and food service segments. GEOS-S operates 10 facilities including office locations in the US, Canada and Australia.
You will work with the Territory Manager to promote our Victory and Invigor Health hybrids and ensure high quality production of specialty canola within an identity preservation system. You will be working with dynamic growers in the industry from diverse areas who are concerned with keeping up on groundbreaking innovation in the agriculture industry. You will really get a chance to see what it’s like to be a part of valuable marketplace within agriculture!

Internship Programming:
We offer both housing assistance and relocation reimbursement to interns who qualify (based on mileage)
Internships are paid and are at least 16 weeks in duration.
Day–to-day transportation to and from work is the responsibility of the intern.
Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance and a curiosity to learn more may be offered a full-time position for the following year!

Job Locations:

Camrose, AB
Frequent travel within assigned region for meetings with customers, prospects and other Cargill personnel. You must have a safe driving history; a motor vehicle record history will be reviewed.

Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited program in an Agriculture-related field and graduating between December 2022 and May 2024
• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
• Must hold a valid Canadian driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment with extensive travel
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from a diverse group of backgrounds
• Able to complete a 16-week internship May - August 2022
• Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited mentorship
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Agriculture
• Previous agriculture sales, research and/or farm experience and knowledge of crop production and canola agronomy
