Overview
Alternative Landscaping Ltd is hiring a Shop Assistant to support the Technicians working in our heavy-duty truck and trailer shop by helping with repair- and maintenance-related tasks. This role provides an excellent starting point for new mechanics to gain familiarity with repair and maintenance processes and best practices while working directly under the supervision of more experienced professionals.
Qualifications
• Excellent mechanical skills
• Must have a driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Mechanical course work (high school or post-secondary) is an asset
• 1+ years of experience in heavy equipment or auto repair is an asset
