Stadium Operations Internship Mid May – Mid August

Qualifications

The Wheat City Whiskey Jacks are looking for individuals to work non-traditional hours (evening and weekends) for 32 regular season games and playoffs (if nec.). Stadium Operations is responsible for preparing the stadium for game day. This position offers a well-rounded insight as to what it takes to organize and prep a stadium to ensure that it will be ready for the arrival of teams and fans alike. Game-Day Responsibilities: Set-up / tear down the merchandise kiosk, ticketing kiosk and fan services kiosk. Prepare and maintain both dressing rooms and dugouts (Water, towels, snacks, etc.) Set up / tear down party deck and beer concession kiosk. Assist with team laundry (home team and visitors) as needed Lead post-game clean-up and tear-down operations Maintain a safe and sanitary stadium (sweeping, trash removal, restrooms, etc.) Ensure pre-game and post-game meal for visiting team is picked up on time General Responsibilities: Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of ballpark Must be able to commit to all regular 32 home games and playoffs if necessary Ability to work game days, nights, and weekends. As well as other team functions Assist in all aspects of team operations and other duties as assigned by management Skills & Experience Required: Excellent communication and customer service skills Excellent time management skills Ability to work quickly and meet hard deadlines Able to lift 50+ lbs.
