Pfizer Canada is looking to hire a talented summer student in the field of Clinical Development and Operations. Our team is looking for a proactive, energetic CEGEP or University student who is interested in working with a dynamic team to gain industry experience. In this role, you will work with a Global Site and Study Operations team to support clinical trial site activation. As this position can be done working remotely, it is open to students across Canada who meet the job qualifications.

Core Responsibilities:

Provide support for global projects and initiatives, including trial and site administration;
Apply project management principles including milestone and action item tracking, and follow-up with team members until issue resolution;
Help collect and track metrics to support dashboard/KPI reporting;
General support of business operations, including assistance with processes, tools and systems;
Maintain, update and input information into clinical trial databases and trackers;
Prepare and maintain manuals, reference tools and other documents;
Prepare documents and correspondence to colleagues and/or research sites;
Assist with document management activities, including collation, distribution, translation, archival and reconciliation of clinical documents;
Collaborate with other roles to support site start-up and submissions;
Aid in the organisation of team events and meetings;
Support ad hoc support for the Site Activation Partner Group.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills:

Studying in a CEGEP or University program, in the field Health Science;
Strong attention to detail;
Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment;
Some knowledge of medical terminology;
Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and teamwork abilities;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
French (an asset);
Strong knowledge of Windows environment and its applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Special requirements for this position :

Must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one year of CEGEP or University by May 2022
Must be enrolled in a full-time program for the upcoming year (September 2022)
Legally able to work in Canada
