Summer Students- Research Assistant Position
Overview
CMCDC is seeking summer students to conduct hands-on applied research as part of a team that establishes research plots, applies fertilizer, plants, weeds, scouts for disease and assists in data collection in Carberry, Manitoba from May 2 – September 2, 2022. This is a full-time seasonal position with the possibility of extension, full- or part-time, into fall to assist with harvest and data processing. Students should be self-motivated, organized individuals who have demonstrated problem solving skills, attention to detail, like working outdoors, and can work independently.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid Class 5 Manitoba drivers license, be actively enrolled in a college or university, and be fully vaccinated (with proof) against Covid-19.
