Survey Summer Student
Overview
Position Description:
• Summer employment (May 3rd to September 3rd, 2021)
• Located in Neepawa
• 40 hours/week
• Survey projects using RTK survey equipment
• Process survey data on ArcGIS
• Assist Manager with project applications and setup
• Assist Project Coordinator & Grow Coordinator with on-site tasks
• Assisting with delivery of other WWD programs
• Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements:
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
• Experience using RTK Survey equipment
• Experience with ArcGIS
• Experience driving four wheel drive pickups and towing trailers
• Experience operating farm tractors, or other equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Preference will be given to those currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or diploma program
