Sustainable City Animator
Overview
This position is an exciting opportunity to help develop an action plan supporting community efforts to make Brandon a resilient, sustainable city. The applicant will produce a clear, easily understood report of existing and necessary actions to improve the sustainability of the City of Brandon and area.
Qualifications
The successful applicant should possess:
• An interest in Climate change and building sustainable communities, and knowledge of environmental science and climate justice issues
• Ability to work independently – working from home is possible
• Good verbal and written communication skills to engage with representatives from the City of Brandon and other climate organizations
• Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Publisher, Excel etc
• Ability to research and compile information received from a variety of sources
• Clear Criminal Record Check
