Overview
Syngenta Canada, Inc. is looking for qualified students for summer positions at our Research Farm located near Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, also Regina, SK. The Syngenta Research and Regulatory Affairs department is the most successful in Canada, currently registering more new products than any other company. We are looking for skilled personnel who can overcome the challenges associated with carrying out a field research program. Syngenta Canada, Inc. is committed to setting the standard in quality agricultural research by conducting the finest trials in the industry. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Pursuing a degree in agriculture or related field
• A good understanding of farming and agronomic practices
• Farm background or Agricultural industry experience an asset
• Clean driving record. Class 3 driver’s license preferred.
• Positive attitude towards problem solving
• Enjoy working outdoors in a team environment
• Physically capable of performing duties required
• Willing to work flexible hours (i.e. overtime, weekends.)
• Transportation between home and work is your responsibility
Job title: Biological Assessment Summer Student Intern.
Salary: Monthly based on education and past experience.
Job Location: Elm River Research Farm, Portage la Prairie, MB. Also Regina, SK
